Platinum Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a beautiful hotel and restaurant in Hitchin to recruit a Kitchen Manager to join their award-winning food-led operation. The role focuses on daytime kitchen leadership, overseeing breakfast service and the smooth running of the kitchen during the day.

You'll manage paperwork, stock control, ordering, and HACCP records while supporting the Head Chef with broader administration.

Salary: £34,000 + Tronc - Daytime Hours

About the Role

As Kitchen Manager, you will take responsibility for the smooth running and organisation of the kitchen during the day. You will oversee breakfast service, ensuring the kitchen delivers consistently high standards before taking responsibility for the administration and organisation of the kitchen operation.

The role will include managing kitchen paperwork, ordering and stock control, maintaining food safety and HACCP records, managing rotas and supporting the Head Chef with the organisation and administration of the wider kitchen.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an organised and reliable kitchen professional with strong attention to detail and a good understanding of kitchen operations. You'll be confident running a breakfast service, managing kitchen administration and maintaining high standards around food safety, stock and organisation.
