Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a reliable Goods In/Out Operative to support the main commercial kitchen at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre. You will receive deliveries, store stock, and prepare orders for various venues and events while maintaining food hygiene and safety records.

This casual role offers flexible hours, with around 5 days over 7 during busy periods, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends. Training, paid induction and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move stock safely.
• Good numeracy skills for stock checks and orders.
• Basic or prior knowledge of food handling is preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and organised in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
• Full, clean driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receiving deliveries, checking goods and putting stock away safely.
• Picking and packing food, stock and equipment for venues and events.
• Preparing and organising orders accurately and on time.
• Completing due diligence, including temperature checks and food safety records.
• Following food hygiene, Health & Safety and company procedures.
• Keeping stock and storage areas clean and well maintained.
• Supporting the wider kitchen and events team during busy periods.
• Carrying out occasional cleaning duties to maintain a clean, safe environment.
