Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is recruiting for a Kitchen Fitter/Multi Trade Carpenter to join our team in Hampshire, covering residential refurbishments and kitchen fitting. The role offers a 39-hour week with a competitive base salary and potential bonuses. A company van and fuel card are provided, along with uniform, PPE, holidays, pension contributions, and life insurance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Kitchen fitting and carpentry as main trade, plus minor plumbing and tiling in kitchens and bathrooms
• Install vinyl sheet flooring and tiling
• Provide excellent customer service in customers' homes, including vulnerable settings
• Work individually or as part of a trade team to safely meet targets

Our Southampton Capital (Planned Maintenance) team is thriving and we're looking for Kitchen Fitters/ Multi Trade Carpenters to join our growing teams. You'll be part of an established and friendly direct trades team working within residential properties throughout Hampshire, New Forest and the surrounding areas, completing internal refurbishment and kitchen fitting works.

The Kitchen Fitter/ Multi Trade Carpenter role:

• The main trade is carpentry (kitchen fitting), as well as undertaking other minor works in plumbing and tiling (kitchens and ideally bathrooms), install vinyl sheet flooring, & tiling
• The ability to work professionally and demonstrate excellent customer service skills within people's homes, including vulnerable settings
• Working individually and sometimes as part of a trade team whilst always working to complete targets, safely.

What will you bring as a Kitchen Fitter/ Multi Trade Carpenter:

• Qualified to an NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry
• Previous experience as a Multi Trader/ Kitchen Fitter; first and second fix installation works, preferably in a domestic setting, fitting kitchens
• A proficient level of health and safety awareness and working knowledge
• Motivated in your approach to work and able to work to individual and team output targets
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, with use of company van.
