Job summary

Colten Care is seeking a reliable Kitchen Domestic at Belmore Lodge, Lymington, Hampshire. You will help maintain a clean kitchen, spotless dishes and equipment, supporting the chef to prepare nutritious daily meals from fresh local produce.

You will be a team player with a passion for delivering excellent resident dining, and you will work 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends with paid breaks. Colten Care offers progression opportunities and supportive training.

Qualifications

• Reliable and committed Kitchen Domestic required.
• Attention to detail and high standards of hygiene.
• Ability to work as part of a catering team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support the chef to prepare a nutritious daily menu using fresh local produce.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment and keep dishes and equipment spotless.
• Assist with general kitchen duties and ensure adherence to food health regulations.

Introduction

We’re looking for a reliable and committed Kitchen Domestic to join our team and become a valued part of day‑to‑day life in our home Belmore Lodge in Lymington, Hampshire.

You’ll take pride in your role, settling for nothing less than spotless dishes, cutlery and kitchen equipment, helping maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.

You’ll support the chef to offer a consistent, nutritious daily menu using fresh local produce and ingredients, helping make a meaningful difference to the health and well‑being of our residents each and every day.

We always look to inspire, develop and motivate our staff through a successful succession plan. Our catering roles are wide and varied, and there are many other exciting roles within the home that play an important part of day‑to‑day life for our residents, so who knows where this exciting journey may lead?

About you

You’re a team player with an enthusiasm for what you do and a can‑do attitude. You’ll have a genuine passion for creating an exceptional resident dining experience, with attention to detail and a sense of fun.

As part of the catering team, you’ll aspire to the highest standards, showing great teamwork to ensure that all regulations for food health and hygiene are adhered to at all times.
