Job summary

Howdens Joinery in Whitby is offering a 12–15 month apprenticeship as a Kitchen Sales Designer. You will learn from expert designers and sales teams, measure homes, design kitchens and bedrooms, and build relationships with trade customers while gaining skills to progress along the sales journey.

This programme supports Maths & English if needed and includes a mentor, a depot manager’s support, and staff benefits. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Fitted Furniture Technician certification required or pursued.
• Maths & English support available if needed.
• UK Full Driving Licence required for visiting customer premises.

Responsibilities

• Measure customer homes and understand their needs.
• Design and plan inspirational kitchens and bedrooms.
• Build relationships with trade customers.
• Use design tools and systems from the team.
• Grow skills until able to support the full sales journey.
