Runwood Homes is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in our care homes. You will help with daily kitchen tasks, maintain cleanliness, and assist the Chefs to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and safely.

You will be expected to follow COSHH and HACPP guidelines and participate in training, with opportunities for career progression and involvement in special events at the home.

As members of the support services team, our Kitchen Assistants help the Chefs with the daily operations of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and performing general kitchen tasks to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly in the care home. Our Kitchen Assistants adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as follow all necessary COSHH and HACPP guidelines. Additionally, you will be involved in catering for special events at the home, such as the annual summer fayres.
