Job summary

Runwood Homes is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in our care home. You will help keep the kitchen clean, assist the Chefs with daily tasks, and help cater for residents' meals and occasional special events, while following COSHH and HACPP guidelines.

Job description

As members of the support services team, our Kitchen Assistants help the Chefs with the daily operations of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and performing general kitchen tasks to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly in the care home. Our Kitchen Assistants adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as follow all necessary COSHH and HACPP guidelines. Additionally, you will be involved in catering for special events at the home, such as the annual summer fayres.
