Job summary

Runwood Homes is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team with daily tasks, maintain high cleanliness, and help ensure safe, smooth operations within the care home kitchen.

The role involves assisting Chefs, following COSHH/HACPP guidelines, and helping with catering for events at the home. Training opportunities are available to develop skills and progress within the company.

Qualifications

Job description

As members of the support services team, our Kitchen Assistants help the Chefs with the daily operations of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and performing general kitchen tasks to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly in the care home. Our Kitchen Assistants adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as follow all necessary COSHH and HACPP guidelines. Additionally, you will be involved in catering for special events at the home, such as the annual summer fayres.
