Cosy Club Nottingham is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for a temporary Christmas contract. You will support our chefs with food preparation and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment. The role offers competitive hourly pay with tips, meals on shift, and various staff perks.

No prior experience is required, and a clear path for progression to chef exists with full training provided. Expect a welcoming team and flexible rotas during the festive period.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Assistant or KP encouraged but not required.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Assist chefs with food preparation and line cooking as needed.
• Keep kitchen clean, tidy and safe throughout shift.
• Support with basic food safety and hygiene practices.

If you've had experience as a Kitchen Assistant or KP before, then great! If not, we still want to hear from you as experience is not necessary. You will be supporting our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of opportunity for promotion to chef.

This position is available on a temporary Christmas contract. The details of the contract will be agreed upon with the hiring manager during the interview process. Any temporary contracts can be extended to permanent on the discretion of the hiring manager.
