Job Introduction

Avante Care & Support is a well-established charity, enhancing the lives of over 1,000 older adults through our nursing and dementia care homes.

We are looking for a Relief Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Parkview in Bexleyheath.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vegetables, fruits, and assist with meal preparation.
  • Set tables, serve meals, and assist with clean-up.
  • Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Ensure kitchen areas are clean and food is prepared safely.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and attend relevant training.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enthusiastic with a passion for cooking.
  • A team player with a caring attitude towards older people.
  • Experience in food hygiene and knowledge of safety regulations is a plus.
