AC Hotel Manchester Salford Quays is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team, help with preparation and cooking to menu specification, and ensure every plate is presented to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Assist with preparation and cooking to meet menu requirements.
• Ensure dishes meet high quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygienic work areas.
• Follow food safety and health regulations at all times.
• Assist with stock rotation and proper storage.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Available for rota-based shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and cooking of food to meet menu requirements
• Ensuring all dishes are prepared and served to a high standard of quality and presentation
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and all food preparation areas
• Following food safety, health and hygiene regulations and procedures at all times
• Assisting with stock rotation and proper storage of food items
• Working closely with the rest of the kitchen team to keep daily service running smoothly
• Staying flexible on shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, as the rota requires
