Job summary

Valor Hospitality's AC Hotel by Marriott Manchester Salford Quays is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team in preparing and cooking dishes to meet menu specifications, with a focus on quality and presentation.

The role offers on-site, flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, ongoing training through funded apprenticeships, and internal development to help you grow within the hotel group.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and cooking of food to meet menu requirements
• Ensuring all dishes are prepared and served to a high standard of quality and presentation
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and all food preparation areas
• Following food safety, health and hygiene regulations and procedures at all times
• Assisting with stock rotation and proper storage of food items
• Working closely with the rest of the kitchen team to keep daily service running smoothly
• Staying flexible on shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, as the rota requires
