Job summary

Maguro Group in Manchester is seeking a Kitchen Assistant. In this role you will support the kitchen team with daily prep and mise en place, maintain hygiene, and assist with washing up while learning the ropes.

No experience is required; a positive attitude, reliability and teamwork are valued. You will enjoy competitive pay, staff meals, a staff discount across Maguro Group brands, and real progression within the business.

• Flexible for evenings and weekends as part of the kitchen rota.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the kitchen team with daily prep and mise en place tasks.
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene throughout every service.
• Assisting with dishwashing, pot washing and equipment cleaning.
• Receiving and storing deliveries correctly and in line with food safety procedures.
• Supporting stock rotation and waste management.
• Assisting chefs during service periods as directed.
