Job summary

Kew Green Hotels in Brighton is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help keep the kitchen running smoothly and support the team in delivering great dining experiences for guests.

Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you’ll handle cleaning, organisation, stock storage and end-of-day checks, while assisting with basic food preparation during busy periods.

This role also offers development through our Chef Development Programme, with training to progress toward chef roles if desired.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team in delivering a positive dining experience.
• Ensure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are cleaned to standard.
• Assist with basic food preparation during busy service periods.
• Help collect ingredients and equipment as needed by chefs.
• Receive deliveries and store items safely and organized.
• Keep storage areas accessible and tidy for ingredients.
