Bupa's Wingham Court Care Home in Claygate is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team, ensuring meals are plated with care and residents feel at home. You will liaise between the kitchen and residents, assist with food preparation, and maintain cleanliness and stock rotation.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen or food service
• Holder of a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Demonstrates commitment to high food hygiene standards

Responsibilities

• Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents
• Assist chefs with plating meals and preparing food trolleys
• Keep preparation areas clean and tidy and monitor stock rotation
• Follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines and assist with event catering
