Job summary

Loungers, Seco Lounge, is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to join a busy kitchen team. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, safe and well-organised, and support our chefs with prep to ensure freshly cooked meals are delivered on time, every time.

This role offers up to £12.71/hr plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals from day one, and 50% discount on food and drinks from day one, with flexible evening and weekend shifts. A great opportunity to grow within a vibrant hospitality brand across the UK.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused.
• Commitment to cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
• Experience in kitchen or hospitality is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment, and washing up.
• Support the chefs with food prep during service and prep time.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures.
• Work as part of one team to deliver a brilliant customer experience.
