Job summary

You will join The Tivoli in Cambridge as a Kitchen Assistant on a fixed-term contract from mid-November until 23 December. The role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about hospitality and keen to learn in a busy venue with two kitchens, four bars and a lively team.

Responsibilities include keeping the kitchen clean, washing dishes, assisting with basic prep, and helping maintain high hygiene standards to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• No experience required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Reliability and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong team player with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Support chefs with basic kitchen preparation when needed.
• Help manage waste and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Assist the kitchen team to deliver smooth and efficient service.
