Job summary

The Tivoli in Cambridge is hiring a Kitchen Assistant on a fixed-term contract from mid-November until 23 December. You will help keep the kitchen clean, support chefs, wash dishes and maintain high hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment.

No previous experience is required; we’re looking for a positive, reliable team player who is eager to learn and contribute to a busy venue with two kitchens, bars and events. Free meals on shift and a 20% Young’s discount are included.

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team on a fixed-term contract from mid-November until 23rd December.

The Tivoli is one of Cambridge's most exciting hospitality venues, with two food kitchens, four bars, indoor golf, shuffleboard, private events and a fantastic roof terrace. It's a busy, lively environment where teamwork is everything.

What you'll be doing

Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised.

Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.

Supporting chefs with basic kitchen preparation when needed.

Keeping on top of waste and maintaining high hygiene standards.

Helping the kitchen team deliver smooth and efficient service.
