Job Description

Summary: As a Kitchen Assistant at Lidl, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for staff, sourcing ingredients from our warehouse, and maintaining hygiene standards. The role involves shift work between 5:30am and 8:30pm, with a fixed term of 6 months, offering a salary of £26,520 - £28,392 per annum, along with benefits like holiday entitlement, discount, and family leave.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sufficient food for staff shifts
  • Assist in planning meal schedules and menu adjustments considering dietary needs
  • Manage food stock levels efficiently, minimizing waste

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a commercial kitchen as a cook (training/support provided for suitable candidates)
