Job summary

SSP Food Travel Experts is seeking a Kitchen Assistant at Crewe Station (Uppercrust) to join a fast-paced team. This role is part-time (16 hours per week) with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. Shifts cover weekdays, weekends andbank/public holidays, offering varied hours from early mornings to late evenings.

You’ll support chefs, keep areas clean, and help uphold food safety standards, with full training provided. 18+ age requirement applies for certain shifts.

Qualifications

• Enjoys fast-paced environments and teamwork.
• Pride in work and ability to stay active.
• Must be 18 years or older for certain shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support chefs with basic prep and waste management.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, including dishes, surfaces and floors.
• Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
• Assist with SSP Stores or serving customers.
• No prior kitchen experience required; training provided.
