Nellsar Care Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for St Winifreds Care Home in Deal. You will join an exceptionally supportive team and help deliver nutritious, appetising meals to residents, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role offers 40 contracted hours on 4 x 10 hour shifts (8am–7pm) with flexible scheduling, competitive hourly pay of £13, ongoing training and opportunities for progression within the Company.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen/facility catering preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a care team.
• Willingness to learn and follow Head Chef instructions.

Responsabilités

• Prepare all foodstuff as directed by the Head Chef.
• Assist in cleaning schedules and kitchen duties.
• Assist in preparation and serving of meals in a timely manner.
• Liaise with care staff and residents in a polite, person-centred way.
• Understand health and safety requirements.

Job Vacancy: Kitchen Assistant

Location: St Winifreds Care Home in Deal, Kent

Contracted hours: 40 hours (10 Hours per day, 8am - 7pm, 4 X 10 hours shifts including alternate weekends)

The Kitchen Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Preparing all foodstuff, as directed by the Head Chef.
• Assisting and executing various kitchen duties such as ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to.
• Assisting in preparation and serving of all meals, in a timely manner.
• Liaising with care staff and residents in a polite and person-centred way.
• Being responsible for understanding health and safety requirements.
