About the Role

At Summerset, we place high value on providing an exceptional dining experience for our residents and visitors. To support this, we have implemented a new food strategy to enhance the overall dining experience. We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant with a genuine interest in providing quality services. Please note this is a casual position, on an as-needed basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Following the requirements of the Food Control Plan to ensure all elements are completed as documented.
2. Cleaning all kitchen surfaces, washing dishes, and removing rubbish from the kitchen.
3. Working with the chef to unload and put away stock.
4. Supporting the chef with food preparation.

About You

You will be outgoing, friendly, and have a can-do attitude, accompanied by great communication skills. To be successful, you will bring:

1. Top-class customer service to ensure a great experience for our residents and their guests.
2. The ability to provide high-quality and timely support for the Chef.
