Bupa Clare House in Uxbridge is seeking a Kitchen Assistant on a Bank (zero hours) contract to join our caring team at Clare House Care Home. You will support the kitchen, help plate meals, and maintain clean preparation areas, ensuring residents receive quality dining experiences.
This role requires prior kitchen experience and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You will work closely with chefs and care staff to deliver meals that meet residents' needs and preferences in a friendly home setting.

Contract: Bank - zero hours
Salary: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour depending on experience.

Clare House provides nursing, residential, convalescence and respite care, both short and long term. The majority of bedrooms are en-suite. It’s important for residents to feel at home, so it creates a friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence.

Enjoying food is an important part of life. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients and tries to cater for all ethnic groups. Soon after a resident arrives at Clare House, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them.

A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You want to deliver an excellent service at each meal and make our residents feel at home. You’ll understand the importance of maintaining high standards in and around the home, ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience. Working with the wider kitchen and care home teams - you’re comfortable communicating with others, cherishing the little moments with our residents.
