Job summary

Berkley Care Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support meal preparation, dining experiences and resident well-being in our care setting. The role involves assisting chefs, maintaining kitchen hygiene and catering for dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare snacks and meals for residents and their families.
• Assist the chefs in the preparation of main meals.

• Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and hygienic.
• Support residents to prepare their food and snacks when they want to.
• Assist in catering for special events and celebrations.
• Communicate with a wide range of people, including residents and families.
