Job summary

Contract Options is recruiting a reliable Kitchen Assistant/Cook to support the on-site Chef in a contract catering kitchen in Witney. You will mainly reheat food prepared from scratch for the evening shift workers on site.

Working Monday to Friday, 6pm to 2am, you will maintain hygiene standards and assist with breakfast preparation while using your own transport due to the location and hours. Benefits include £16 per hour, weekly pay, free meals on duty, and weekends off.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Assistant or Cook in a contract catering environment.
• Able to work traditional night shift hours (6pm–2am).
• Must have reliable transport due to location and hours.

Responsibilities

• Reheat and prepare food for the evening shift.
• Assist with breakfast preparation as needed.
• Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards.
• Support the on-site Chef and work as part of a small team.

We need an experienced Kitchen Assistant/Cook who can assist in reheating and prepare food, assist with breakfast preparation, maintain hygiene standards and use their own initiative.

You must be reliable, available every evening Monday to Friday, and have your own transport due to the location and shift times.
