BaxterStorey in Watford is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Cafe chef, keeping things stocked, clean, and well organised during busy service.

You’ll participate in high quality food preparation, follow hygiene rules, and communicate clearly with the team. The role offers 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 14.04 GBP per hour and meals on shift.

Formación

• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
• A positive, friendly attitude and willingness to help in a busy kitchen.

Salary: £14.04 per hour 30 hours per week Mon - Fri

Flexible working times, 6 hours per day 9:00am - 15:30pm

Smiley, happy, friendly, willing & keen individual required for our busy Cafe in Watford with a can do attitude who will just get on and do any task within the kitchen environment including mechanical washing up, cleaning duties & putting deliveries away. As the kitchen assistant you will be responsible for assisting the Cafe chef in maintaining high quality food preparation & presentation, taking ownership of your section, communicate effectively with the team, adhere to all food safety & hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in your assigned section and throughout the kitchen.

Job Description

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the kitchen ensuring a busy service runs smoothly. You’ll make sure everything is well stocked, clean, and the team around you have everything they need to create the perfect dish for our customers.

Qualifications

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will…
