The Swan at Walton-on-Thames is seeking new kitchen porters to support our chef team as we develop our latest fresh cooked menus and gastro treats.

This role involves constant cleaning duties, including washing pots, pans, trays, and maintaining a spotless kitchen environment. The entire kitchen, food storage, and catering equipment must be thoroughly cleaned daily, including walk-in fridges, freezers, ceilings, walls, floors, and doors.

The job includes managing grease traps, yard cleaning, deep cleaning of equipment, and all catering areas.

The position is spread over 5 out of 7 days, with shifts during daytime, evening, and sometimes 10-hour shifts including breaks.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, discussed face-to-face and based on experience, with weekly pay direct into your bank account.

If interested, you can participate in our development courses and progress your career as you are trained to become a commis chef, CDP, sous chef, etc.
