Job summary

CH&CO in Wakefield is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant on a part-time basis, contracted to 10 hours per week. You will join a team that takes pride in their food, brand, and people, with progression opportunities within a company that invests in its staff.

Qualifications

• Hospitality/kitchen experience preferred.

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensure safe use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assist with loading or unloading deliveries and supplies.
• Represent CH&CO and uphold the brand image.

Please note: This role is contracted to 43.6 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
