Job summary

Compass Group UK, Chartwells division, is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant on a part-time basis contracted to 15 hours per week. You’ll join a team proud of their food, their brand, and their people, with opportunities to progress within a company that invests in its staff and rewards going beyond the plate.

Shift pattern includes Mon–Fri afternoons, across approximately 39.3 weeks per year. Your key duties include preparing high-quality meals, keeping the kitchen clean, handling equipment

Qualifications

• Ability to manage pressure and prioritise tasks.
• Excellent team player with strong communication.
• Organised and reliable with good timekeeping.
• Flexible to work shifts and adapt to busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
