Job summary

Country House Weddings Ltd. is seeking a Casual Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join a hardworking kitchen team in a beautiful Warwickshire venue. This entry-level role offers hands-on training, a pathway into a professional kitchen, and the chance to learn from classically trained chefs.

You’ll be involved in a fast-paced, supportive environment, with a focus on teamwork, reliability and developing culinary skills during the summer peak and beyond.

Qualifications

• No experience required – full training will be provided.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Full-time hours available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Clean the kitchen to ensure it is ready for the next day.
• Maintain food storage areas including fridges and freezers.
• Receive deliveries and organise stock correctly.
• Wash dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Load and unload the dishwasher.
• Remove kitchen waste and dispose of it safely.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment such as cookers and mixers.
• Support chefs with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients).
• Assist the kitchen team as required during service.

Key Responsibilities
