Job summary

Farmhouse Inns in Sutton-in-Ashfield is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support a busy kitchen, keeping it stocked, clean and ready for service. You’ll assist the team to deliver quality dishes while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.

This role focuses on pot washing and assisting with deliveries, with opportunities for training and future progression across our brands. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Job Description

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the kitchen ensuring a busy service runs smoothly. You’ll make sure everything is well stocked, clean, and the team around you have everything they need to create the perfect dish for our customers.

This is predominantlya pot wash role and will be supporting our deliveries on a day to day basis.

Qualifications

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will…

• Help the kitchen service run smoothly by making sure it is well stocked and clean.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with your team, ensuring they have everything they need.

• Willingness to learn and expand your skills in the kitchen.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
