Job summary

Little Pioneers is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help prepare and serve healthy meals while keeping a clean kitchen and supporting families in choosing nutritious options.

You will work under the Cook and ensure compliance with Food Standards Agency standards, with a focus on high quality and safety. The role offers a 4-day week option and enhanced benefits.

• DBS check (enhanced) required
• Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent

What will the role involve?

As a Kitchen Assistant you’ll support the Cook in the preparation and serving of healthy and nutritionally balanced meals. You will ensure a clean and tidy work environment and support the team to enable families to make healthy food choices. Working alongside the society’s policies and procedures, you will ensure compliance with the Food Standards Agency and work to the highest possible standards.
