As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support food preparation and maintain a clean environment to ensure the safe production of meals and beverages, delivering high-quality service to residents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring food hygiene standards are met through safe food handling practices.
  • Collaborating with team members and responding promptly to work instructions.
  • Managing supplies and ensuring timely ordering of necessary items.
  • Respecting residents and their visitors, maintaining dignity and individuality.

About You:

  • Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and maintain high personal hygiene standards.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety protocols, including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
  • Capable of sustained physical effort and managing a demanding workload.
  • Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and a caring attitude towards residents.

Additional Information:

  • A DBS check will be required, with costs covered by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is necessary.
