Connaught Care is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for our care homes in Chichester. You will support chefs with food prep, help plate meals, and maintain kitchen hygiene to ensure a calm, warm dining experience for residents.

Join a close-knit hospitality team and contribute to high standards of cleanliness, service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Training will be provided, with on-site benefits and development opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Support our Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs and Head Chefs with food prep, service and kitchen cleanliness

Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety throughout each shift

Help plate and present meals with care and consistency

Keep the kitchen well-stocked, organised and running like clockwork

Assist with washing up and general cleaning duties to ensure smooth service

Be a warm, friendly presence behind the scenes—residents will notice your energy, even if they don’t see you
