Job summary

Connaught Care Collection is seeking a warm Bistro Assistant in Swindon to deliver friendly table service and support daily meals across our luxury care-home bistros. You’ll build relationships with residents, ensure beautiful presentation, and collaborate with the hospitality and culinary teams to create moments of genuine care.

Experience in customer-facing hospitality is ideal; a can-do attitude and teamwork are essential to delight residents with thoughtful service and a smile every day.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional table service in our home bistro and bar areas.
• Support daily service of breakfast, lunch, drinks, snacks, and special events.
• Build genuine relationships with residents, remembering their preferences and creating a sense of familiarity.
• Keep the bistro clean, well-stocked, and beautifully presented at all times.
• Work closely with the Hospitality Manager and culinary team to ensure a seamless experience.
• Assist with setting up for birthdays, themed afternoons, or events—adding a little sparkle to everyday service.

We’re looking for a warm, attentive Bistro Assistant to join the hospitality team at Connaught Care—a luxury, all- inclusive care home group where mealtimes are as much about meaning as they are about menus .

Whether it’s a morning coffee, a shared lunch, or an impromptu celebration, your service will help residents feel seen, valued, and right at home .

What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide friendly, professional table service in our home bistro and bar areas

Support daily service of breakfast, lunch, drinks, snacks, and special events

Build genuine relationships with residents, remembering their preferences and creating a sense of familiarity

Keep the bistro clean, well-stocked, and beautifully presented at all times

Work closely with the Hospitality Manager and culinary team to ensure a seamless experience

Assist with setting up for birthdays, themed afternoons, or events—adding a little sparkle to everyday service
