Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, on behalf of Chartwells, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for a part-time role contracted to 30 hours per week and 39 weeks per year. Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Maintain a clean kitchen and surrounding areas to a high standard.
• Ensure proper use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading of deliveries and supplies.
• Represent Chartwells and uphold the brand image.
• Adhere to Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
• Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
• Be flexible to work shifts and show exceptional timekeeping.

We're looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant who will be the heart of our operation for Chartwells on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
