Job summary

Chartwells is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant for a part-time role. The position is contracted to 30 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, joining a team proud of its food, brand and people.

You will prepare high-quality food, keep the kitchen clean, and ensure safe use of all equipment. You’ll support deliveries, uphold hygiene standards, and represent Chartwells professionally within a Compass Group UK&I framework.

We're looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant who will be the heart of our operation for Chartwells on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
