About Our Home:

The Headington Care Home is a warm and welcoming purpose-built nursing home offering a spacious and comfortable environment with 24-hour care and support for older adults.

What does the role involve?

1. Assist, as directed, with the preparation of produce for meal times, including cooking breakfast items, vegetable preparation, and making sandwiches.
2. Ensure all kitchen equipment and areas are cleaned according to schedules, demonstrating good organizational skills.
3. Adhere to statutory and Company Health and Safety Regulations.
4. Store all dry and perishable cook-chill goods correctly and promptly after receipt and checking.
5. Store cleaning materials safely and correctly.
6. Thoroughly clean all crockery, cutlery, and drinking vessels using the main kitchen dishwasher.
7. Clean and store pots, pans, utensils, and service containers to the required standards.
