We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at The Springs Resort and Golf Club in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. Great hourly rate.

This is a seasonal position to work part time hours. This will be across 3 variable days which will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

About The Role

Main responsibilities:

The successful Kitchen Assistant will

· Take on a range of kitchen responsibilities.

· Pot washing.

· Collect, clean and replenish all crockery and kitchen utensils in a prompt and efficient manner.

· Assist the kitchen team with preparation of various food dishes.

· Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.

· Work with the Head Chef to assist with responsibility of various aspects within the kitchen.

· Prepare fresh ingredients including dough, and cook and serve quality pizza from our external wood fired oven.

Requirements:

Some previous experience within a busy kitchen environment is desired. Catering qualifications and Level 3 Food Safety are desirable but not essential. A driving licence and ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the retreat.
