Job summary

Sodexo Live! is hiring a Kitchen Assistant at Manchester Airport Terminal 1. You will wear the correct uniform, use approved products, and log daily health and safety records while supporting the team with standard tasks.

You’ll adhere to food safety and hygiene rules and participate in training and client meetings as required. Excellent communication, basic hygiene skills, and a readiness to adapt to varied shifts are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous chef experience.
• Strong communication skills.

• Airport lounge experience would be useful.
• Flexibility to cover shifts.

Responsibilities

• To dress accordingly to the standards and guidelines advised and wear the supplied uniform garments at all times when on duty.
• To only use products and equipment supplied and specifically for the job.
• Ensure that all H&S & F&S documentation for example cleaning schedules and temperature records are signed off daily once all tasks have been completed.
• Comply with all legal and company procedures relating to food safety, health and safety and personal hygiene.
• Sign in and out when on shift to ensure hours worked are paid correctly. Follow the shift’s rota.
• Attend training sessions and staff / client meetings as requested.
• Assist management and undertake all reasonable requests

Why Sodexo?

• Rate of Pay : £13.90 per hour
• Shifts : 2 early – 4:45am-14pm, 2 lates – 14pm-22:30pm , 2 off (4 on 2 off)
• MUST be able to provide 5 years of working history in UK & UK address history
• The role will be made permanent upon gaining references for full pass.
