Job summary

CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant in Liverpool on a part-time basis. The role is contracted to 16 hours per week with a 35.6-week year pattern, offering opportunities to grow within the company that values its people.

You will prepare high-quality food, maintain kitchen cleanliness, operate equipment safely, assist with deliveries, and uphold the CH&CO brand while following hygiene and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling food in a kitchen environment
• Understanding of food hygiene standards and safe handling
• Ability to work in a busy kitchen and maintain high standards
• Willingness to work afternoons and weekends as per shift pattern

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

We're looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant who will be the heart of our operation for CH&CO on a part time basis, contracted to 16 hours per week.
