Job summary

Chartwells is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant in Croydon to join CH&CO on a part-time basis. The role is 30 hours per week, contracted to 41.6 weeks per year, with a strong focus on quality food, hygiene and team support.

You will contribute to a friendly, brand-driven environment that values people and progression, with opportunities for development and a wellbeing and rewards programme.

• Prepare high-quality food to delight clients and customers.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Operate and use kitchen machinery safely.
• Assist with deliveries and stock movements.
• Represent CH&CO with a positive brand image.
• Follow Food Hygiene standards and safety regulations.
• Support team to ensure smooth service.

We're looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant who will be the heart of our operation for CH&CO on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image
