Get Golfing CIO, a charity dedicated to making golf more accessible for all, is seeking a Junior Chef to join our team at Warley Park Golf Club.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a thriving and dynamic organisation managing 13 sites with 7,000 members and over 160,000 visitors annually.

The successful candidate will be part of a £20m revenue company with 400 employees, reinvesting profits into venues, courses, staff development, and community charitable initiatives.

The Role

We pride ourselves on the quality of food served at our vibrant events and clubhouses. As a kitchen assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our kitchen team, assisting with washing up, maintaining high food safety standards, and helping bring dishes to life with creativity and skill. You will have the opportunity to help differentiate us in the Golf and Leisure market by delivering high-quality food that encourages repeat visits.

This is a casual position paying minimum wage in line with your age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to established menus and quality standards.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to menu planning and the development of new dishes.
• Support and train other kitchen staff as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure all dishes are served promptly.
