Leah Lodge, based in Blackheath, is a beautiful 48-bed home caring for residents with dementia. We are currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team on a part-time basis.

Position Details:

• Part Time
• Location: Lewisham, UK
• Salary: £12.36 per hour plus benefits
• Hours: 24 hours per week

We support our staff with training and qualifications, and the role involves assisting with food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the catering team in delivering high-quality catering services, ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Prepare nutritional meals and beverages promptly according to schedule.
• Maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen and food storage areas.
• Assist with special diet meals as directed.
• Provide feedback on catering services and address complaints promptly.
• Support stock control to minimize waste.

Person Specification:

• Physically and medically capable of performing duties.
• Organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of COSHH and CQC regulations is desirable.
