Job summary

eTeach UK Limited is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to support the Chef and Assistant Cook in delivering a high quality catering service for the Academy. You will perform general kitchen tasks (including cleaning) on a weekly rota and follow catering policies. Experience is preferred, with a Level 2 Food Safety certificate desirable but training provided.

This permanent role offers 23.75 hours per week (10:00–14:45, Mon–Fri), 38 weeks per year, with benefits noted in the staff package.

• Experience in catering or kitchen environment preferred.
• Willingness to follow catering policies and procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team to support the Chef and Assistant Cook.

Job description

We require a Kitchen Assistant to support the Chef and Assistant Cook in providing a high quality and efficient catering service to all customers of the Academy. You will be required to undertake general kitchen duties (including cleaning) on a weekly rota basis ensuring that all catering policies are adhered to. Experience would be preferred. A Level 2 Award in Food Safety/Basic Food Hygiene certificate is desirable, but full training will be given. Hours 23.75 hours per week (10.00am to 2.45pm Monday to Friday), 38 weeks per year. This post is permanent.
