About The Role

About You

Your role as a Kitchen Assistant involves preparing and serving nutritious meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene. You’ll handle food supplies, assist new starters, and ensure resident wellbeing is always prioritized.

We seek candidates with kitchen experience, preferably with an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willingness to obtain one. Strong organizational skills, recipe adherence, and considerate communication are essential.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, attend relevant training, and know how to report concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
