Job summary

Scattergoods Agency is recruiting Catering Assistants, Kitchen Assistants and Kitchen Porters to work in Schools around Surrey. You will join a flexible agency team, supporting kitchen operations at various locations and predominantly daytime, weekday hours.

The role offers pay of £13.00 - £13.65 per hour (PAYE) with benefits including holiday pay, flexible hours and pension contribution. DBS checks and Food Safety Level 2/Allergens certifications are required or pursued where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
• Assist with basic food preparation.
• Wash dishes and kitchen tools.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

We are seeking dedicated Catering Assistants, Kitchen Assistants and Kitchen Porters to join our team, working in Schools around Surrey. As part of our agency, you will work in various locations, supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy flexible work and are looking for predominately daytime, weekday hours
