As a Kitchen Assistant with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the action and will play a key role in our catering operation, assisting with the preparation and service of food while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The Role

1. Support the senior team to deliver the Campus food strategy
2. Assist with food preparation and general cleaning of food production areas
3. Oversee the standard and quality of all food and drinks you prepare and serve; ensure items meet specifications and have the “wow” factor
4. Collaborate with other teams, e.g., the Curated Experience team, to deliver memorable events and experiences on campus
5. Stay attentive to customer needs and feedback to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
6. Maintain audit readiness at all times, achieving high standards in finance, health and safety, food safety, and internal inspections
7. Attend daily service briefings
8. Promote a ‘One Team’ culture through integrated service provision

• Enthusiastic approach to work
• Catering experience is preferred, but a positive, can-do attitude is essential
• Good understanding of food hygiene principles
• Ability to follow instructions and make decisions that benefit the customer
• Customer-first mindset, ensuring an exceptional experience
• Team player who collaborates well with others
