Job description

We're looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted for 20 hours per week. You will be part of a team that takes pride in their food, brand, and most importantly, their people. Shift Patterns

5 out of 7 days per week. Please note: This role is contracted for 42 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights our clients and customers.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
  • Ensuring proper use of all machinery and equipment.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and supply vehicles.
  • Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
  • Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.

  • Ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Organized, committed, and eager to succeed.
