Malet Lambert is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the school catering team, helping prepare and provide nutritious meals for pupils. A basic grasp of food hygiene and safety is required, with prior food prep experience preferred.
The role is permanent, 10 hours per week during term time, with a further 10 hours in school holidays for deep cleans and training. Salary is £5,756.90 per annum, paid in 12 installments.
We are looking for an individual who has previous experience of preparing food, preferably in a professional kitchen/catering environment with a basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team at Malet Lambertas aKitchenAssistantwho will provide a crucial role insupporting the schools catering team to prepare and provide high quality, nutritious food for our students.
This is a permanent position, working 10 per week term time only. You will be required to work an additional10hoursduring the school holidays to undertake deep cleans and/or undertake training and development. The normal working hours will be between11:45am and 13.45pm, Monday to Friday.
Your actual salary will be£5,756.90per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.
